Magnetostrictive Level Sensor - LCM-VF Series

Magnetostrictive continuous level transmitters base their operation on the physical principle called Wiedemann effect and allow a continuous and precise measurement of liquid levels. The electronic unit sends a pulse to a waveguide contained in the measuring rod; the magnetic float intercepts the pulse generating an echo that is detected by the same electronic unit. The elapsing time between the emission of the pulse and its recognition is directly proportional to the position of the float, and then to the value of the level to be measured.

VALCO LCD Level Sensor

The principle operation of the LCD-S level switch is based on the moderate shutdown of a series of resistors and reed contacts. These are placed inside the guiding rod by a magnetic float. The only moving parts will be the float which moves along the measuring rod. You can program the sensor manually or via the “MYVALCO” app using NFC technology, available on Android® app store.

Dual Channel Transmitters

The transmitter is a two channel controller that supports two sensors of same or different types in one instrument. The sensor types supported by the 9950 are Signet Flow, pH/ORP, Conductivity/Resistivity, Salinity, Temperature, Pressure, Level, Dissolved Oxygen, and devices that transmit a 4 to 20 mA signal with the use of the 8058 iGo® Signal Converter. The 9950 includes advanced features such as derived functions, advanced multiple relay modes, and timer based relay functions. Derived function allows for the control of a relay or current loop with the sum, delta (difference), or ratio of two measurements, for example delta pressure and delta temperature. Multiple relay modes allow up to three signals to be used for the control of a single relay.
