Hydrostatic
The SGE-25 hydrostatic level probe measures liquid levels in tanks, deep wells or piezometers. Its specialised design means it can measure water levels in very narrow conditions.
Its operation is based on a simple relationship between the height of the liquid column and the resulting hydrostatic pressure. Applications include pumping stations, fermentation chambers, settling tanks, borehole levels and ponds.

Marine certification (DNV) option
Hydrostatic
The SGE-25 hydrostatic level probe measures liquid levels, based on a simple relationship between the height of the liquid column and the resulting hydrostatic pressure. The pressure measurement is carried out on the level of the separating diaphragm of the immersed probe and is related to atmospheric pressure through a capillary in the cable. The active sensing element is a piezoresistant silicon sensor separated from the medium by an isolating diaphragm.

The SL conductive probe series provides a solution for controlling the level of liquid with a minimum value of conductivity of 1µs.
The probes are available in a wide variety of materials and process connections and are of construction appropriate to operation in extreme conditions such as those found on industrial plants.
1 to 4 St. Steel electrodes
Electrodes length from 100 mm. to 1500 mm.
Brass, St. Steel, PPL body materials
Working pressure up to 6 bar
Working temperature up to 100°C
Control units for SL model
The VNR21/22 control units are designed as interface for the SL series (conductive level probes). These electronic units are used to control liquids that have a minimum electrical conductivity of 1 µS.
The system is based on measurement of the conductivity of the liquid to be controlled and works with low potential and with alternating currents, in order to avoid the incrustation of the electrodes and/or perforation of the tan.
One or two channel design
10-250 µS sensitivity range
Changeover (SPDT)
The visual level indicators ILC series are used to visually monitor the status of the level of liquids in tanks, and are equipped with a minimum or maximum level switch. The indicators are mounted outside the tank by means of threaded connections. The system thus designed allows the vision of the level inside the tank at 360°.
Version with switch MIN/MAX
127 mm. to 1000 mm. length
Working pressure up to 2 bar
Working temperature up to 80°C

127 mm. to 1000 mm. length
Aluminium anodized body, other on request
Working pressure up to 2 bar
Working temperature up to 80°C
Acrylic sight and protection tube
Level measurement with capacitive technology.
The liquid to be monitored must have a minimum conductivity of 50 µS / cm and must not be adherent to the probe.
All programming functions can be managed from the keypad on the front panel of the instrument. Level status is displayed on the LCD. The analog signal is proportional to the measured level, and can be calibrated according to the geometry of the tank. The absence of moving parts offers a system that does not require particular maintenance
Measuring ranges 100 … 3000 mm
Programming via the front panel keypad and LCD display
0-10 V or 4-20mA analog output
Measuring units programmable in linear values or %.
The capacitive probes, SCV series, are a good solution to control the level of liquids such as water, oil, gas and solids such as powders and granular materials.
The probes are available in different lengths and their construction has been suitably designed to ensure high operational reliability in difficult conditions, such as those found on industrial plants.
The optical sensors, SLO series, are a valid solution for level control of liquids, even for applications in small tanks. The optical sensor is located in a metallic body which includes a polysulfone prism inside of which there is inserted an infrared transceiver. As soon as the sensor is immersed in the liquid, the refraction index of the prism is changed and a large part of the infrared beam is dispersed in the liquid, causing the output to change state. The sensor is particularly suitable to be side mounted for control of translucent liquids even coloured.
No moving parts
Hermetic construction, sealed electronics
Minimum protection degree IP65
This universal signal processor was designed as interface for continuous level sensors with potentiometric output (LC series). Subsequently evolved until the current version that can be interfaced with any sensor or signal transmitter. This electronic unit handles standard industrial signals 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, frequency and potentiometers.
Magnetostrictive continuous level transmitters base their operation on the physical principle called Wiedemann effect and it allows continuous and precise measurement of liquid levels. The electronic unit sends a pulse within a waveguide contained in the measuring rod; the magnetic float intercepts the pulse generating an echo that is detected by the same electronic unit. The elapsing time between the emission of the pulse and its recognition is directly proportional to the position of the float, and then to the value of the level to be measured.
